I've built as a founder from just an idea to becoming a market leader. My business was successfully acquired, and I've also been on the acquiror side. I've bootstrapped businesses as well as operated with private equity ownership.

My career started at Morgan Stanley and Onex Partners, and I continue to invest personally in both public markets and private investments as an LP and directly in disruptive companies, funds and projects.

I've been a regular contributing writer for The Globe and Mail and guest columnist for numerous industry publications. I'm an active conference speaker on digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
My experience spans a lot of different company stages: founding and growing organically from zero to $20M revenue at Motoinsight, scaling to a $100M revenue software business at AutoSync through M&A, and c-level operating experience in a $300M revenue marketplace business at TRADER Corp.
I founded Motoinsight which is a vertical SaaS business delivering digital retailing software for automakers and dealership groups. I grew Motoinsight as CEO from an idea to become a market leader before being acquired by Thoma Bravo portfolio company TRADER Corp (parent of AutoTrader). As part of TRADER, I helped create AutoSync which assembled a portfolio of integrated software solutions through strategic acquisitions. I was then Chief Digital Retail Officer at TRADER where I was leading a transformation of its legacy AutoTrader marketplace business.
